True Architectural Marvel. (Are we the dumbest generation of human race?)

A saint was walking on the banks of river Tunga and saw an incredible scene, A Cobra with a raised hood was providing shelter to a bloated frog which was about to spawn [A pregnant frog about to lay Eggs]. The saint was impressed with the sanctity of the place where the enemies by nature are living in friendly wood which inspired him to establish a matha [monasteries] on the same place. The saint was none other than Sri. Sri. Adi Shankaracharya and the place was Sringeri.

Sringeri Sharada Petam was the first matha of four established by Sri Sri Adi Shankaracharya and the place also witness the one of the most incredible architecture of mankind “The Vidyashankara Temple” built back in 14th century, the temple is built on the banks of river Tunga.
This true architectural marvel is fusion of Hoysala, Chalukya, Vijayanagara and Dravidian Style carvings, this temple was built by Harihara and his brother Bukka Raya of sangama Dynasty who were the founders of Vijayanagar Empire established in 1336

This temple has 12 pillars adored with sculptures and they represent 12 zodiac signs and they placed in such a way that rays from the rising sun fall on each of them, in the order of 12 zodiacs. The pillars are scientifically placed in such order that if sun is now located in Leo (Simha raashi), Then the sunrays fall on the pillar with Leo Symbol. Which is true Architectural Marvel and also tells us about the kind of knowledge our ancestors possessed. We today living in 21st century with advanced technology cannot imagine this. This Architecture rises a question in my mind.
Are we the dumbest generation of human race ?

  1. Yes we are. As a worker in construction for more than ten years, I can assure you that city planners, architects, engineers and developers are in the business of making money and bow down to the google god.
There is no pride in the work been done. There is only one aim: make money.
So a temple like that is unthinkable because money has become a reason d'etre.
I live in Vancouver Canada and what I see is unbelievable. Illegal workers without any training doing things absolutely wrong. Deficiencies are so many that after a building is completed, it takes another 6 months fixing things that are "visibly" wrong. 30 years ago when a building was completed, and inspected there were no deficiencies.
Yes we are not just the dumbest, we are the cruelest, violent, selfish, indifferent, temperamental, vicious and extremely dishonest. As a Punjabi worker told me recently: " Guru Nanak would not approve of our behaviour and our fake observance of the religion."
    Blessings
